How this is measured

League measures come from the NHL's own season report for 2026-27, regular season only. They are per-game averages and rates, not adjusted for the schedule. Team save percentage is one minus goals against over shots against, so empty-net goals count against it.

The "Our model" measures are our current ratings. Before a club has played, they are last season's form carried over and pulled toward the league average, so in the preseason they and the league measures describe different seasons.
